  1. I just finished checking out those videos you mentioned at the Hollywood Gothique website. To say that you are a braver person that I am, Steve, would be a massive understatement. If you ever managed to drag me into one of those haunted houses / corn mazes / asylums (which you wouldn’t), I would spend most of my time screaming my head off and jumping out of my damned skin. Of course, the first time I went to the Haunted Mansion in Disney World I got so hysterical from the “YOU’LL NEVER GET OUT! MWA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!” introduction (by the stupendous Paul Frees)that I needed to be taken out through an emergency exit before the ride even began.

    Granted, I was six years old. But, you know, STILL …

    Anyway, this was another great episode, guys. And as a Latvian-American, I’m looking forward to seeing if you hear from your one Latvian listener! If you don’t hear from this person in a timely manner, you might have to start incorporating topics of interest to Latvians into your podcast. I recommend amber, herring, and hedgehogs.
