Variety reports that Lindsay Lohan has joined Woody Harrelson, Giovanni Ribisi, Dave Matthews, and Alanis Morissette in the cat of THE OTHER SIDE, an independently produced fantasy-comedy about a grad student working at a remote scientific institute that turns out to be the scene of  a past tragedy. The film, Lohan’s first since arrests and rehab derailed her career after I KNOW WHO KILLED ME in 2007, is scheduled for an October shoot on an island near Massachusetts. Director David Michaels co-wrote the script with Phil Reeves.

“Lindsay’s very aware of people’s perceptions of her,” director David Michaels told Daily Variety. “She’s really committed to doing what she has to in order to change that.”
