Hollywood Reporter informs us that Warner Brothers and 20th Century Fox are in negotiations to settle their dispute over WATCHMEN. Warners has produced a film that they plan to distribute in March; Fox claims to  own distribution rights to the property – a claim confirmed by the judge overseeing the case. The goal of the negotiations is to avoid a further hearing and to get the film released on scheduled. If a deal is reached, it would probably allow Warners to distribute the film in exchange for a percentage of the profits going to Fox.
