I watched this because every female I know had seen it at least five times...so I knew it had to be amazing right? Wrong! Edward Cullen [supposedly so handsome that he barely passed for human is played by Robert Pattinson!!! Cut!! There's been a mistake surely!? Once I'd seen the film, I read the books, all of them. They were good. I cannot believe how people jump on the band wagon, just because Hollywood tells us that this film is amazing, and Robert Pattinson is beautiful does not make it so! I've never been so bewildered by anything in my life!!

That review made me laugh out loud! i haven't seen the film yet but from what i gather from the trailers, your review is probably more entertaining.I read Twilight and as a female it made me extremely uncomfortable.Bella is completely obsessed with Edward; surely impressionable young girls shouldn't be encouraged in behaving in such a manner towards boys? Also, why is she so bloody helpless? and why on earth are there chapters dedicated to the boy's beauty? I thought the narrative was awkward, simplistic and overly descriptive.Stephenie Meyer is lucky there are easily pleased, naive, shallow tweens out there to read her books.

The Twilight movie was not meant to be a horror film. It was meant to be a teenage love story that happened to have vampires in it. Although I admit the movie was not good at all, it was what the fans somewhat wanted to see. The acting was bad, the special effects were bad, but it stayed true to the book with the parts that it did have. And Edward Cullen is the coolest thing since white sliced bread! Go read at least the first book and you will realize that Edward Cullen is the way every guy should act to his girlfriend.
