One point worth adding: The producers of this film did a Roger Corman sort of two-for-one deal, spinning out another movie called EAGLE-SHOOTING HEROES, reusing a lot of the cast and resources but with a different director. The result is light-hearted and fun-filled and well worth seeing, even if you find Wong-Kar Wai’s movie ponderous and dull.
