I’m a little late on this one, but I wanted to mention that the talented screenwriting team of Karaszewski and Scott Alexander are negotiating to write a feature film based on the Goosebumps young-adults horror series. There have been some direct-to-video adaptations, but this would be the first time the franchise reached the big screen. Although Karaszewski and Alexander are best known for their humorous biographical screenplays (ED WOOD, MAN ON THE MOON, PEOPLE VS. LARRY FLYNT), they previously adapted Stephen King’s 1408, which became a hit horror film last year.
