New: Lee will Time Travel

Variety reports that Spike Lee has acquired the rights to Time Traveler: A Scientist’s Personal Mission to Make Time Travel a Reality. Although it sounds like science fiction, the book is actually a memoir by Ronald Mallett, “one of the nation’s first African-Americans to earn a Ph.D in theoretical physics.” Lee is set to co-write and direct the film.
