In 007 On-Set Car Attack, The Mirror.co.uk reports that Carlos Lopez drove a 4×4 at Daniel Craig on the set of the new Bond film. The mayor of Seirra Gorda, where A QUANTUM OF SOLACE is being filmed, Lopez was supposedly angry that his town was being used to portray neighboring Bolivia.

The story sounds a bit too goofy to believed. For one thing, we’re told that the incident took place on-set, we’re not told how Lopez got his car onto the set, Presumably, the article meant “on location.” One suspects that, at the very least, the details are being fudged to make it sound more dramatic than it is.
