Opening Today: “10,000 B.C.” and “CJ7″

Two fantasy films are opening this week: 10,000 B.C. and CJ7. This first is a major release; the second is getting limited distribution.

10,OOO B.C. is a prehistoric epic that pits primitive humanity against wooly mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers. Rotten Tomatoes gives it an astoundingly bad 9% approval rating, based on a survey of 45 reviews (4 fresh, 41 rotten). Find theatres and showtimes here.  Opening Today: 10,000 B.C. and CJ7

CJ7 is an E.T.-type family fantasy from Hong Kong filmmaker Stephen Chow (SHAOLIN SOCCER). A review in the Hollywood Reporter called the film “too cute for its own good.” Find theatres and showtimes here.
