Teen slasher pick ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE earned quite a bit of buzz last year, leading to expectations that it would be the next big thing in horror when it was picked up for theatrical distribution by the Weinstein Company; instead, it has been sitting on the shelf for nearly a year and occasionally showing up at film festivals. The Internet Movie Database indicates that the film will get a UK release in February 2008, and the Mandy Lane MySpace pagetells us that newcomer Senator Distribution has obtianed the U.S. rights from the Weinsteins, with the intention of making it their first theatrical release early next year. ESplatter.Com reports (without citing a source) that Senator Distribution will open in the film in March.
