Laeta Kalogridis - writer and exec producer of BIONIC WOMAN - has been signed by New Line Cinema to rewrite DARKSIDERS, a story about FBI agents who join forces with a group of vampires to track down an illegal arms dealer trading biochemical weapons. The original script, by Tom S. Parker and Jim Jennewein, was purchased in 2001, and various directors have been attached, including Jonathan Hensleigh and David Goyer.

After Kalogridis turns in her draft, the script will again be sent out to directors. Coincidentally, Goyer is now attached to a different vampire project,  an adaptation of the graphic novel Baltimore.
