Horror film burrows into FearNet

J.T. Perry, whose upcoming horror film THE BURROWERS is slated for release in 2008 by Lionsgate, will try to whet audience appetite by creating webisodes to premiere on the FearNet. The horror website is doing a similar promotion with 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: BLOOD TRAILS, based on the film hitting theatres on October 19.

There will be seven episodes of THE BURROWS, in the three- to five-minute range, telling the story of a family in the wilderness who come to an evil end after devouring infected deer meat. The feature film will follow a rescue party hunted by a band of underground creatures, leading one to wonder whether the missing family are victims – or does the infected meat transform them into troglodytes?
