Twin Peaks DVD box set on the way

October 30 will see the release of the “Definitive Gold Box Edition” DVD set of TWIN PEAKS, the wonderfully weird television show from David Lynch and Mark Frost. The previous DVD release is out of print, and the new version will include lots of material never before available in the U.S., such as the International Version of the pilot, with the Alternate Ending that wrapped up the story so that the two-hour episode could air as a stand-alone movie overseas.

Other features include Introductions for each episode by the Log Lady, several featurettes on such subjects the making of the show and creating the music, a “Return to Twin Peaks” feature, image galleries, TV spots, an interactive map, a “Falling” music video, five Georgia Coffee commercials, and excerpts from series star Kyle MacLachlan’s appearance on Saturday Night Live, which includes a PEAKS parody.
