Abrams to produce supernatural thriller

The ubiquitous J. J. Abrams has another deal to produce a genre film, this one an untitled supernatural thriller to be written and directed by Josh Marston (MARIA FULL OF GRACE). Abrams’ Bad Robot company, which is set up at Paramount, will produce the film, about which few details are currently available.

Abrams other genre projects include the monster movie CLOVERFIELD, written by Drew Goddard and directed by Matt Reeves, which is set to open on January 18, and the upcoming STAR TREK feature film, which is scheduled to begin production on November 5.
