Japan to launch horror & sci-fi channel

A Japanese company called News Broadcasting Japan is planning to launch a premium channel devoted to horror and science-fiction programming. The debut of the channel - the first of its kind in that county is scheduled for October 1. Programming will consist of an international smorgasbord feature films, TV series, and anime, including lots of re-runs of classics like INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS and HALLOWEEN, along with made-for-television stuff like Stephen King’s IT and KINGDOM HOSPITAL.
